Hymn Of Hearts In Vain

Hymn Of Hearts In Vain
by Robert Paul Gass (aka Imagines Vinco aka Ultionem Vinco)
The three of hearts to split in mind by day
The soul of leader's love for lesser slaves
And men to lust for bitter death to lay
The foes in lowest dens beneath the graves.
The two of hearts unites in sex by night
The master reigning words of power red
To waste the women's lovers banned from sight
Of daughters lost to trades Egyptians fed.
The Ace of hearts alone in death with light
Beneath the aperture to close the life
of potter's wheel in vain the war to fight
The masters forcing work with torture's knife.
The prayers to hear forgot so soon by God
And lesser powers' daughters given sod.
