As holy relics drain the pain of loss
For churches gross refusing Christ his knot.
And Pan to lurk behind the bush in lust
Of daughter Zeus begot on earthen womb
Betrayal fierce of Ida's laws as trust
In brother beast of Crete forsaking tomb.
