The velar sounds of Hebrew earthen thick
Deliver light to sense of matter dense
As Adam ate the fruit of knowledge trick
Of Eve for hierarchies' lowest fence.
The sylphid sounds of Greek as airy flight
Uplift the mind to theogonic states
Callypso spire to twist her beauty height
Above the Spartans nearby ruling fates.
The bastard sounds of Latin Circe's pen
Disjunct the understanding phrenic bend
The temple vise to twist Aeneid's den
Blasphemes for barbs to force a bitter end.
The most demented, Greek, to lure the sense
To love dementia, height reversing fence.
