Permutations Of Sisyphus' Gyre

Permutations Of Sisyphus' Gyre
by Robert Paul Gass (aka Imagines Vinco aka Ultionem Vinco)
The Sphinx with riddles tricked the travelled path
But king disowned by father's tethers spun
Her tale of old and young to stow her wrath
And beast she fell to tortures never one.
The ibis headed Thoth to cry of rays
That cast the shade for tree as thirty-two
And Ra in boat to sail four million days
For karma cubed in point as sacred dew.
Deformed as Seti monster turning boats
In Nile obeliscal sunk moraine
Endeavor sun of morning bottom floats
In underworld with scourge for Ra the bane.
As underworld to seep to surface plane
The ibis bemoans with cries lion's mane.
