The Wounds Of A Roman Curse

The Wounds Of A Roman Curse
by Robert Paul Gass (aka Imagines Vinco aka Ultionem Vinco)
On hands the wounds of Christ compel the soul
To listen nerves on end to hear the call
Of saints to die the writings sunk in hole
With dying words of worming wood's appall.
The wound on head is evidence of house
Possesion's laws to etch the pentagram
Of Satan's heart and point the beard to douse
The flame of water held with hell in dam.
The wounds of Nike's wings to soar in sky
With LIL proclaiming hatred's cost unheard
Of vortex retribution's tail and die
Reverberations cast in pond absurd.
The wounds of Rome to pilfer stolen soul
Beyond the reach of control heaven's hole.
