The Cherub's Through Thrusting Fire

The Cherub's Through Thrusting Fire
by Robert Paul Gass (aka Imagines Vinco aka Ultionem Vinco)
From Adam's ribs creator fashioned Eve
The first of women after demon queen
As Lilith took Kebad to wed conceive
The shells as skin to shed and ween.
For Samael the quest was freedom's pain
To curse the couple toils in fields afar
From Eden's rivers matter's dirt to stain
The spirit's labors damned beneath the star.
The Cherub's sword to bar the whilom blest
That failed as rays of double blade emit
The waves to see and fall creator's test
For truth of will the power of kindles lit.
The sun that shines akin to dust of star
Alighting eyes with sword of heaven far.
