Uncoiling The First Blow

Uncoiling The First Blow
by Robert Paul Gass (aka Imagines Vinco aka Ultionem Vinco)
The unaware belabored under blow
Of puissant pugilism lost the sight
To darkness closing fast beneath the foe
Disorienting mind to drop the night.
The quaking head disordered throbs with pain
Of heated blood as pulsatory mess
To twinge with movement hurting clotted brain
And thoughts become enshrouded fog for less.
The paranoia threatens refuge sought
With world collapsing under opened door
And fear is friendly paired with locks begot
From habits seeking buffers round the core.
Kinetic fields of force protect from blows
And dispositor coils restrict the foes.
