Stones Of Atlantis

Stones Of Atlantis
by Robert Paul Gass (aka Imagines Vinco aka Ultionem Vinco)
As Harpokrates kept the finger still
To lips remorseless king to trample fates
Actaeon sought from wicker basket's will
And burning pyres to scream the column's gates.
The water drowns the councils six of years
Before the empyreal column eyes
Of purple watch Atlantis statue tiers
As ten of bulls on altar bleed assize.
The dolmen shelters men beneath the rock
To sacrifice the beasts Neanderthals
Necessitating prize afresh for Roc
To drive the elk to cliff with spears as calls.
The sacrifice to keep as silent fears
Of afterlife to drown Atlantis' tears.
