Enyo's Lost Triremes

Enyo's Lost Triremes
by Robert Paul Gass (aka Imagines Vinco aka Ultionem Vinco)
As Cadmus built the Theban towers high
The goal in mind to overcome divine
And risk the godly seven drawn to thigh
Of lure Antigone with blood in twine.
The legions draw the closing route of force
On foes to bloody disarray of arms
And Polyneices body lay in course
Of cars to trample sister's blessed charms.
Accomplished warder's hex of fallen flesh
As Persian ships to fall to Grecian bows
And nets of Sekhet lift Egyptian mesh
Zoroaster's army with stars in cows.
The towers Cadmus built to fall in sea
And Sekhet snares the hearts of men as fee.
