Abandoning Mother's Love

Abandoning Mother's Love
by Robert Paul Gass (aka Imagines Vinco aka Ultionem Vinco)
The boy to take the fledgling born of nest
Is cursing rest with death for sadist's sake
To touch as dread invader put to test
And leave the barren twigs to fly from snake.
The serpent coils and Shiva wakens eye
To open willows white on staff of sage
As fear of death to open lorn with cry
To god for loss of love and fear in cage.
And son of Jacob whelp of lion guards
To disinherit Joseph's visions strong
For coat of many colors left in shards
The fragments torn disjoining bitter wrong.
As tribes of twelve to guard the ten and three
The mother's love to leave and wings to flee.
