And Pyro Pounds My Door

And Pyro Pounds My Door
by Robert Paul Gass (aka Imagines Vinco aka Ultionem Vinco)
The storms Osiris sends the house of Set
To keep the sacrifice in check as gate
Of Thuat cobras sing in venom's bet
To win the laurel wreath of bitter fate.
The god of storms to seek the Ida springs
And guard the nectar satyrs seek as much
As wyverns' cattle nostrils flare in rings
In hope of life the longer light to touch.
And prince of lies to pound the door to mage
That speaks the truth in garble evil's bane
As hellish monsters torture shell of sage
And Sekhet weeps for Leo lion's mane.
The Chaos butterfly to whisper winds
Of such a heinous kill and Thoth rescinds.
